1998 brought to Magic Mountain the latest in high-tech coastering: Riddler's Revenge. It opened as the world's tallest stand-up roller coaster. Check out these stats: a 156 foot first drop, a massive 130 foot loop (which the train was passing through right then), two diving loops, a 45 degree angle slanting loop, and two flat spins. Even the first loop broke a record as the tallest on any stand-up roller coaster. In the background middle right is the first drop on Batman- The Ride and on the left is the (dismantled as of 2008) Freefall Stunt Tower.
