Elijah Plays Games YouTube banner (2015)

In this project, I was asked to come up with a YouTube banner for a family member. The idea was to make a design in the styling of Minecraft.

After an idea of making the name look like blocks being deconstructed by a crane, we settled on the final look. Using a block font, Lemiesz, I applied a texture to the text and a pixelation filter to the grass area--similar to the Minecraft style.

The crane was designed as a vector object in Inkscape, while the entire design was created in GNU Image Manipulation Program. In addition, a channel art template aided in graphics placement.

Pre 1900 poster

In this class project, I was assigned to come up with an idea based on pre-1900s history. The result was a fictional advertisement for Mt. Sierra College with a pyramid theme.
